It looks like I moved out of San Diego just in time to miss the massive fires. At least one other Blogger in the CF Community, Rob Munn, has posted about the fires and is potentially in the line of fire.

I've been watching the coverage on TV, but to see what it's like from the perspective of the residents, I've been watching this slideshow of fire photos based on a Flickr search. Some serious ash and smoke on those pics.
